Gerphil Flores

 

Gerphil Geraldine F. Libanan, more popularly known professionally as Gerphil Flores, is a certified McClosky Voice Technician. She graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music (major in Voice) and a Diploma in Creative Performing Musical Arts from the University of the Philippines College of Music, and later studied Art History at the University of British Columbia (UBC).

Her love for the stage has spanned a diverse array of productions, from theater credits like The Sound of Music and High School Musical to performing in original Filipino works such as Song of Joseph, as well as classical opera roles in Dvořák's Rusalka and Music Artes' production of Madame Butterfly. In 2015, she gained international recognition as the 2nd runner-up on the inaugural season of Asia's Got Talent, earning a Golden Buzzer from 16-time Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster. Over the years, she has also had the privilege of sharing the stage with acclaimed international artists such as Richard Marx, Natalie Imbruglia, and Melanie C, to name a few.

Gerphil is a multi-awarded Aliw Award recipient including honors for Entertainer of the YearBest Female Classical Performer, and Best Female Crossover Performer and was honored with her own star on the Eastwood City Walk of Fame by the legendary German "Kuya Germs" Moreno. Today, she remains actively engaged in both performing and teaching. Offering both online and face-to-face lessons, she genuinely loves helping students of all levels discover healthy vocal freedom, build confidence, and reach their full musical potential.
