Her students range from age 12 to 74.

Miki graduated from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music with a double major of Voice and Interpersonal Communication Studies.  Miki also has done additional graduate work in Vocal Pedagogy at Pennsylvania State University.  In addition to being a Certified McClosky Voice Technician (CMVT), Miki is certified in Levels 1, 2, and 3 of Somatic Voicework™, the LoVetri Method.

She has appeared as soloist in Handel’s Messiah, Vivaldi’s Gloria, and Faure’s Requiem.  Miki performed “Moth” in Benjamin Britten’s opera A Midsummer Night’s Dream and in the chorus of Le Nozze de Figaro. Her musical theater credits include Luisa in The Fantastiks, Lady Larken in Once Upon a Mattress, and Domina in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.  Equally at home in drama, Miki has appeared as Charlotte in Moon Over Buffalo, Penny in You Can’t Take it With You, and Harriet in Moving Mountains.
